How your baby's growing:

Your baby now weighs about three-quarters of a pound and is approximately 10 1/2 inches long — the length of a carrot. You may soon feel like she's practicing martial arts as her initial fluttering movements turn into full-fledged kicks and nudges. You may also discover a pattern to her activity as you get to know her better. In other developments, your baby's eyebrows and lids are present now, and if you're having a girl, her vagina has begun to form as well.

The weeks are just flying by! I cant' believe that we are at 21 weeks already! I am definitely feeling pregnant these days, that is for sure! This past week I was able to get some good quality sleep, and I can't even describe how much better it has been.

For Labor Day weekend Ryan and I didn't have any official plans, we ended up driving to Orange, CA on Saturday to watch Whitworth's football team play Chapman and we got to see the Travis Todd play, as well as see his parents and Jordan Frederick. It was really nice to see people from home! They ended up losing by two points, which was a little disappointing, but what can you do!

Today (Sunday), Ryan and I went to the mall to do a little shopping and we stopped in at Baby Gap (LOVE!). We were given a gift card (thanks Nancy!) so we decided to take advantage of the Labor Day sales and we got some really cute things!! A few weeks back, Ryan and I saw this onsie (the dinosaur one) and knew we had to get it if the baby ended up being a boy, so....that's what we did. I'll admit, I really didn't want to know what the sex of the baby was, but now that we know, it makes shopping around so much more fun! Also, I have stopped referring to the baby as "it" which just feels a lot better, haha!! Here is what we got at the GAP:

The little shoes just kill me, they are SO stinking cute!

We didn't really know what sizes to get, especially since we are thinking this baby is going to be a pretty big boy...so we got a variety from 0-3 months, to 6-12mo, just in case! Ryan was already giving me a hard time about how I am going to have way too much fun dressing up our child.

We also got a gift card from Ryan's aunt Joan and her family and his brother Walt & family and so we went to Macy's and bought us the Keurig Coffee maker. It is a little embarrassing how excited we both were to get it home and make our first cup of coffee! We were both trying to open the box together, and we had a good laugh at ourselves. Today was like Christmas!
Our new toy!

Hmm, other baby related news...I have been feeling a lot of movement lately, and I really excited to get more kicks that Ryan will be able to feel. I am also to the point where I REALLY need to go shopping and get some new maternity clothes. I tried looking a little bit today, but wasn't really in the mood. I think I'll try going again this week. I need to go soon because getting dressed each day is a dreadful nightmare, ha! I also feel like I still don't look like I am pregnant. I want to get a t-shirt that I saw that says, "No, I'm not fat, I'm pregnant..." lol, that is the stage that I feel I am in right now.

I hope you all had a great holiday weekend!
